Step 1. Use cPanel backup tool – Login to your OLD hosting account and follow the instructions
As shown in image above click on the backup wizard, then following screen will appear
once the above screen appears click on Backup
once the above screen appears click on Full Backup OR you would like to have back of of given options on the right side you may select them and can hit Backup. Once you click on Full Backup the following screen will appear
It means your back is ready, you may download it by clicking the link ended with .tar.gz or you can put your email address and it will be in your inbox.
This is end of Step 1
Step 2. Restoring Backup– Login to your NEW hosting account and follow the instructions
As shown in image above click on the backup wizard, then following screen will appear
once the above screen appears click on Restore. Then the following screen will appear
Click on Home Directory.
Then select the backup file which you already downloaded…
This is end of Step 2 Restoration Done! If you got any error just put the error code in my comments will fix the issue for you…FOR FREE
Step 3. Change your domain DNS- Login to your domain control panel and change Domain DNS, put your New Namerservers. Normally its takes 1 to 4 hrs and max it takes 24 hrs to reflect globally.
How you will come to know that the New Nameserver is working?
1. Ping your old namerservers
Visit the following site and put your old nameserver http://cloudmonitor.ca.com/en/ping.php After process starts, write it down the IP address. Follow the same thing once again and put your new nameserver again write it down the IP address.
2. After few hrs or a day open the same website and put your website name (e.g. yourwebsitename.com) check it is showing which IP address if it shows the new server IP, there you go everything works fine and you have migrated your hosting account successfully.
